The Expanded Functions Dental Assistants Association is a professional organization for Registered Dental Assistants in Extended Functions (RDAEF) in California. EFDAA supports and promotes the advancement of “expanded functions” for all dental assistants in California. We accomplish this by providing our members with online continuing education courses, Board approved RDAEF programs and representation at the Dental Board, as well as in the legislature.

For dental assistants and those sitting for the RDA examination, we provide the mandatory 8 hour IC course in several locations; 2 hour California Dental Practice Act. Click on Mandatory IC Courses for DAs and online DPA Courses.
