About EFDAA's Dental Continuing Education Courses

Your professional organization, EFDAA is currently offering the following continuing education courses and programs:

• Online Two Hour Infection Control Course
• Online Two Hour Dental Practice Course
• Mandated Eight Hour IC Course for the Dental Assistant (online +classroom)
• RDAEF for the RDA (online + classroom)
• RDAEF Update (online + classroom)
• Orthodontic Assistant Permit Program (online + classroom)

EFDAA Course Formats

EFDAA is currently offering courses and/or programs in three formats:

• Totally Online
• Combination of online and classroom style hands on
• Classroom style hands on

DB Registered Provider

EFDAA is in the process of becoming a registered provider of continuing education through the Dental Board.  This allows us to provide supervised continuing dental education to you and any RDA, RDH or dentist.

CE Requirements for Licensed Dental Assistants in California

All licensed and permitted dental assistants, including the RDAEF are required to complete 25 CE units every two years.  50% of those units can be completed through online education.
